The deep learning approach is inevitably being implemented in public junior high schools—including SMP N 11 Mimika in Central Papua—as mandated by law. Generally, education in Indonesia faces a significant challenge regarding the practical application of theory. The goal of the educational process is not merely to produce students capable of passing a series of tests to achieve specific grades; rather, it aims to foster an environment where issues such as student brawls—a phenomenon observed at SMP 11 Mimika—can be naturally eliminated. To address this, this study examines the implementation of deep learning at SMP N 11 Mimika as an alternative solution—a pedagogical approach designed to refine the *Kurikulum Merdeka* (Independent Curriculum) and enhance the quality of education in Indonesia.
