The “Stop Bullying” socialization implemented by IAIN Laa Roiba students in the Community Service Program (KKN) at SDN Tonjong 1 Tajurhalang, Bogor Regency aimed to provide students with an understanding of the definition, forms and negative impacts of bullying, while fostering awareness of mutual respect and the importance of avoiding such behavior. The activity was carried out in two sessions using interactive presentations, discussions, educational games and role-play simulations. The results indicated an increase in students’ knowledge about bullying, the development of empathy and a commitment to refrain from engaging in any form of bullying. The school appreciated the activity as it aligned with efforts to prevent bullying, which has become a major concern in Indonesian education, while the community also supported the program’s sustainability. Theoretically, this activity highlights the crucial roles of teachers, schools, parents and the community in creating a safe, child-friendly and bullying-free learning environment.
Eda LaelasariNaulatun NafisahMohamad DarmawanFalakhurromadhoni Jidan

https://journal-laaroiba.com/ojs/index.php/elmujtama/article/view/10413

Clinical pathways are essential instruments for ensuring the quality of medical services, patient safety, and legal protection for healthcare workers. However, their implementation continues to face various challenges in healthcare facilities, including in the Obstetrics Ward of Abepura Regional General Hospital (RSUD Abepura). This study aims to analyze the legal implications of non-compliance with clinical pathways and identify the factors that hinder healthcare workers in their implementation. This research employs an empirical legal method using a normative–empirical approach through questionnaires, observations, and document reviews. The results show that most healthcare workers have a strong understanding of the legal obligations related to clinical pathway implementation, with 95% of respondents acknowledging the legal risks associated with failing to follow established standards. Nevertheless, several discrepancies in practice were found, such as performing episiotomy without indication, incomplete clinical pathway documentation, and a lack of integration between manual clinical pathways and electronic medical records. The main barriers identified include high workload, insufficient training, limited facilities, and weak coordination among healthcare personnel. The discussion reveals a gap between legal awareness and operational application. In conclusion, the implementation of clinical pathways is not yet optimal and requires managerial strengthening, enhanced training, improved facilities, and integrated information systems to support compliance and minimize legal risks.
Grace Kawengian

https://journal-laaroiba.com/ojs/index.php/elmujtama/article/view/10479

Academic supervision is among the key instruments for improving the quality of learning and teacher professionalism. However, the implementation of supervision in the field often still contains administrative elements and lacks attention to the moral-spiritual aspects that are the main foundation of Islamic education. This study aims to analyze the application of the principle of ihsan in academic supervision thru a qualitative literature review. The principle of ihsan, which encompasses spiritual awareness, the highest quality, and sincerity in work, is considered relevant for improving the quality of interaction between supervisors and teachers. The analysis results show that the value of ihsan can be integrated into three stages of supervision: planning, observation, and feedback. In the planning stage, ihsan encourages the formulation of humanistic and improvement-oriented supervision goals, not just evaluation. In the observation stage, ihsan manifests in the form of honesty, empathy, and appreciation for teachers' efforts. Meanwhile, in the feedback stage, the value of ihsan strengthens the pattern of dialogical, gentle (rifq), and motivating communication to help teachers develop optimally. This study emphasizes that integrating the principles of ihsan can shape academic supervision that is more meaningful, humanistic, and aligned with the values of contemporary Islamic education.
Melja SafitriAgustin AgustinMuhammad Iqbal

Family counseling has an important role in preventing and addressing domestic violence (DV), which remains a major social issue with significant psychological, physical, and intergenerational impacts. This study aims to analyze various research findings related to the effectiveness of family counseling in reducing the incidence of DV in Indonesia. Using a literature review method, articles published between 2021–2025 were systematically selected from databases such as Google Scholar, Garuda, and other online sources using keywords including family counseling, domestic violence, and abuse. The reviewed studies show that family counseling improves communication patterns, enhances empathy, increases self-awareness, and helps both victims and perpetrators build healthier relationship dynamics. Counseling interventions also contribute to reducing psychological symptoms experienced by victims, including fear, anxiety, and trauma, while helping perpetrators recognize and manage aggressive behaviors. In addition, several studies highlight that counseling plays a preventive role by strengthening family resilience and breaking intergenerational cycles of violence. Overall, family counseling demonstrates strong potential as a curative and preventive strategy in decreasing DV cases in Indonesia. Strengthening access, reducing stigma, and increasing multidisciplinary support are crucial to maximizing the effectiveness of family-based interventions.
Bachtiar SafrudinKartika Setia PurdaniRizka Dwi PurnamasariPutri NadilaSiti KhadijahVirna Nur HalizzaNasua Arya PutriAdam Rizki AzzahdiArrasyidi Alfatahillah

https://journal-laaroiba.com/ojs/index.php/elmujtama/article/view/10352

This study aims to analyze the concept of needs and wants in modern society through the perspective of Maqasid al-Syariah according to Imam al-Ghazali. The rapidly growing consumerist and materialistic phenomenon due to globalization, digital technology, and hedonistic culture has caused a shift in consumption priorities so that the boundaries between needs and wants have become blurred. Through a qualitative research method based on literature studies, this study examines al-Ghazali's thoughts on al-daruriyyat al-khams and the categorization of human needs which include dharuriyyah, hajiyyah, and tahsiniyyah. The results show that the concept of maqasid formulated by al-Ghazali provides an ethical and normative framework that can direct people's consumption patterns to align with the principles of benefit, moderation, and material-spiritual balance. These findings also confirm that the application of maqasid values can be a solution to various negative impacts of modern consumerism, such as wasteful behavior, social inequality, and moral degradation. This study concludes that Maqasid al-Syariah is relevant as an ethical guideline in building proportional and civilized consumption behavior in the contemporary era.
Aqidatul IzzaIntan Tri NurainiM. https://journal-laaroiba.com/ojs/index.php/elmujtama/article/view/10681

Occupational safety and health (OSH) is a fundamental component in protecting workers from risks that may threaten their safety, health, and productivity. Across various community aggregates both in formal sectors such as industry and healthcare facilities, and informal sectors such as workshops, home industries, and tourism communities the level of hazards and risks varies widely, requiring specific prevention strategies. This literature review aims to analyze the relationship between community aggregate characteristics and the effectiveness of risk prevention strategies within the context of occupational health. The study employs a systematic literature review of articles published between 2023 and 2025 that discuss occupational risk exposure, safety management, and promotive and preventive interventions. The findings indicate that each community group has different needs in identifying and controlling risks. In the informal sector, OSH education, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and community-based interventions have been shown to increase hazard awareness and reduce workplace accidents. In the formal sector, analytical methods such as HIRARC, FMEA, and HAZOP help identify risks in a structured manner and determine control priorities, particularly for ergonomic, mechanical, biological, and chemical hazards. The review also highlights that the success of OSH interventions is strongly influenced by active worker participation, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), continuous supervision, and management support. Overall, a comprehensive understanding of community aggregate characteristics is essential for designing more targeted, collaborative, and sustainable risk prevention strategies to improve occupational health and safety.
M Bachtiar SafrudinAisyah Nur SabilaSiti KhadijahFauziyah ArdeliaNanda Imut TyyahNurhayati Sipahutar

Digital transformation in the public sector has encouraged the development of queuing systems that not only organize service flows but also provide faster and more accurate access to information for citizens. Gebang Putih Urban Village, a community partner of the Electronic Engineering Polytechnic Institute of Surabaya (PENS), implemented a digital queuing system based on Android and web platforms in 2024; however, the system still had limitations in terms of responsiveness and communication channels with citizens. This community service activity focuses on the technical optimization of the queuing system by integrating a chat-based interaction feature into the mobile application and simplifying the queue number retrieval flow through conversational interaction. The system was developed using a User-centered design (UCD) approach, with key stages including needs analysis based on the evaluation of the previous system, design of a new system architecture, implementation of chat integration, and internal testing with urban village officers as key users. The optimization results cover three main technical aspects: (1) integration of the chat service module into the mobile application without modifying the core queuing logic, (2) a queue number retrieval feature via chat that is directly connected to the digital queuing module, and (3) a two-way chat channel between citizens and officers facilitated through a web-based dashboard. Internal trials indicate improvements in service workflows, reduced face-to-face interactions for simple inquiries, and increased staff understanding of how to use the digital system. From a community engagement perspective, this work represents a development and capacity-building phase that strengthens officers’ ability to manage technology-based services and provides a technical foundation that is ready to be disseminated and replicated in other urban villages with minimal adaptation.
Adam Shidqul AzizNur Rosyid MubtadaiDesy Intan PermatasariFerry Astika SaputraIwan SyarifArna FarizaM.
This study aims to analyze the implementation of parking policy in Depok City in enhancing public legal awareness toward illegal parking practices. The research focuses on the implementation of Depok Mayor Regulation Number 16 of 2020 concerning the Licensing Procedures for Parking Facilities and Parking Fee Regulations. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis involving local government officials, parking managers, parking attendants, and parking service users. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of the parking policy in Depok City has not been fully effective. The main weaknesses lie in limited policy socialization, inadequate supervision, and inconsistent law enforcement. This method was used to understand daily work practices in a production environment subject to strict regulations. The findings indicate that a clear division of roles plays a crucial role in maintaining smooth work coordination and reducing the potential for operational errors. Furthermore, the quality of social interactions among workers tends to influence the effectiveness of collaboration, particularly in processes that demand precision and consistency. These findings demonstrate that productivity in the pharmaceutical industry needs to be understood as a result of a combination of technical and social aspects, making a sociological perspective relevant in human resource management.
Tara Shinta YulianiDidin Syarifuddin

Eleven participants, consisting of company executives, employees, and interns, were involved to ensure managerial support and sustainability. The training covered digital design principles, content structuring, catalog layout development, and interactive publication. The main output of this program is an official interactive digital catalog that can be accessed online and used as a professional promotional medium. In addition, the program improved participants’ skills in independently updating and managing digital catalogs. This activity supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 8 on decent work and economic growth and SDG 9 on industry, innovation, and infrastructure. Overall, the program successfully strengthened the partner’s promotional capacity and digital competitiveness.
Prasetyo YuliantoroMuhammad Panji Kusuma PrajaMelinda BR Ginting

This activity aims to strengthen students’ social empathy through an experiential learning approach combined with indigenous community engagement. The program was initiated in response to the declining social sensitivity among students in the digital era, where individualism often dominates social interactions. Therefore, contextual and reflective learning experiences are needed to develop students’ humanistic character. The educational visit was conducted in the Baduy Luar indigenous community, Kanekes Village, Lebak Regency, Banten, involving students from various study programs. The methods included participatory observation, informal interviews, and written reflections analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that students demonstrated increased empathy and cross-cultural awareness through direct interaction with the community. They learned the values of simplicity, mutual cooperation, and harmony between humans and nature. Beyond enhancing student awareness, the activity also strengthened collaborative relations between higher education institutions and indigenous communities as equal learning partners. Thus, experiential learning proved effective in fostering social empathy and humanitarian awareness among students.
Mawaddatul UlyaAnggita NurcahyaniMuadz Muadz

Managing waste remains a significant issue in various areas, including Sukarahayu Village, Tambelang Sub-district, Bekasi Regency. The community’s ongoing improper disposal habits, such as littering and open burning, continue to threaten both public health and the environment. This community engagement initiative seeks to increase residents’ knowledge, awareness, and involvement in waste management through education and training utilizing the waste bank model. The approach comprised three primary phases: preparation, socialization, and implementation. In the implementation phase, residents were educated about sorting organic and inorganic waste following the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), the environmental and health dangers of burning waste, and received training in waste handling through the establishment of a Waste Bank Unit (WBU). The outcomes demonstrate improved community understanding of effective waste management and the creation of a waste bank management team in Sukarahayu Village. This initiative is anticipated to foster positive behavioral changes in waste handling, decrease the amount of waste sent to landfills, and deliver ongoing economic benefits to the community.
Istianah SetyaningsihEka Putri Yudilestari

https://journal-laaroiba.com/ojs/index.php/elmujtama/article/view/11054

Studies of isti‘ārah in balāghah often limit themselves to formal definitions and classifications, so that its rhetorical function and role in interpreting the Qur’an have not been comprehensively explored. Previous studies generally treat isti‘ārah as a linguistic ornament, without linking it deeply to the formation of meaning and spiritual messages in verses. This weakness prompted this study to present an approach that emphasizes the integration between the structure of isti‘ārah and its rhetorical function in the interpretation of the Qur'an. The purpose of this study is to explain the concept, form, and function of isti‘ārah and its contribution in clarifying meaning, strengthening moral messages, and displaying the beauty of the language of the Qur'an. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method through literature study and text analysis of Qur'anic verses. The results show that isti‘ārah plays an important role as a pedagogical, rhetorical, and aesthetic medium in the interpretation of the Qur'an. In conclusion, isti‘ārah is a primary instrument for meaning formation, not merely a figure of speech.
Megawati MegawatiMohammad HarjumMardan Mardan

This study confirms that bullying is a serious problem in educational environments that negatively impacts students' psychological, social, and academic aspects. Based on the values of the Qur'an and hadith, the study emphasizes the important role of Islamic teachings as a moral foundation in preventing bullying, especially through communication ethics, such as qaulan sadida (speaking honestly, politely, and without causing harm). The prevention strategies developed include strengthening character education based on Islamic values, integrating school policies based on Islamic values, and implementing innovative educational media. This approach is also balanced with policy and legal synergy, including Islamic law and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE Law) in the context of cyberbullying. Through the Digital Research Methods, religious discourse on YouTube and TikTok social media was analyzed to understand public perceptions of bullying and Islamic values. The results showed that the comprehensive integration of verses from the Qur'an and hadiths could be a systematic, holistic, and relevant model for preventing bullying in the digital age.
Fadhila FadhilaFajriatun NurjanahIkrimatul Adawiyah SiregarWildan As'at Taufik Hasibuan
