Abstract

This study aims to (1) examine PjBL (Project-Based Learning) instructional planning in terms of accelerating student skills; (2) investigate the factors influencing the success of PjBL in enhancing skills; and (3) identify the outcomes of implementing this PjBL strategy. A qualitative descriptive case study method was employed. The research findings consist of a description and analysis of the project-based learning strategy used to stimulate student skills in the "Learning Media" course within the Undergraduate Program of Islamic Primary Teacher Education (PGMI) at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, IAI-N Laa Roiba Bogor. Data were collected through observation, a review of expert theories, and documentation. Validation was achieved through data source and method triangulation. The results indicate that the PjBL strategy for stimulating student skills comprises three stages: a) planning using the Semester Learning Plan (RPS); b) implementation, involving two face-to-face classroom sessions and out-of-class consultation processes (both online and in-person); and c) the final outcomes of completing project-based assignments. A well-structured PjBL strategy in the Learning Media course elicits a positive response from students regarding the enhancement of their potential skills and also fosters creative thinking.
