Implementasi Hadis-Hadis Akhlak dalam Pembentukan Karakter Peserta Didik Kelas VII di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta At-Tibyan Deli Serdang

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of hadiths on moral values in shaping the character of seventh-grade students at At-Tibyan Private Islamic Junior High School, Deli Serdang. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, Islamic Education teacher, and seventh-grade students as informants. Data analysis was conducted through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the implementation of hadiths on moral values is carried out through religious learning, teacher role modeling, positive behavior habituation, advice, and continuous supervision. The moral values instilled in students include honesty, discipline, politeness, and responsibility. The implementation process is supported by the role of teachers, school policies, and a conducive educational environment. However, several obstacles remain, including differences in students' backgrounds and habits, as well as the influence of their social environment. This study concludes that the implementation of hadiths on moral values plays an important role in character education by guiding students to understand and apply the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in their daily lives.
