This study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of Mathematical Intelligence Stick media on the addition operation ability of sixth grade students with intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. This research was conducted in April 2025, 2024/2025 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach with a research design using the Pre-Experimental method in the form of one-group pretest-posttest. The sampling technique in this study used the population, namely the entire sixth grade of SDLB SLB Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. The data collection technique was carried out using an initial test (pre-test), treatment (treatment), and final test (post-test). Data analysis in this study used non-parametric statistical methods that were analyzed descriptively and for hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon test at a significance level of ά = 0.05. The hypothesis testing results show an Asymp.sig (2-tailed) value of 0,011, which is less than 0,05. This indicates a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results operations in mentally retarded students of class VI at SLB Negeri 2 Yogyakarta.
