Rekonstruksi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Berbasis Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS): Integrasi Nilai Maqāṣid Al-Syarīah dan Tata Kelola Pendidikan Berkelanjutan

This article aims to reconstruct Islamic educational management based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by integrating maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah values with sustainable educational governance. The study is motivated by the persistence of administrative, procedural, and fragmented management practices in Islamic educational institutions, which remain insufficiently responsive to demands for quality, inclusivity, justice, social responsibility, and ecological sustainability. It employs a qualitative approach using library research and critical-conceptual analysis. Data were drawn from official documents, journal articles, scholarly books, and relevant literature published between 2020 and 2026 and were examined through qualitative content and thematic analysis. The findings indicate that reconstructing Islamic educational management requires comprehensive reform of institutional vision, leadership, curriculum, quality culture, governance, human resource development, risk management, and evaluation systems. Maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah serves as a normative foundation directing educational management toward the protection of religion, life, intellect, progeny, and wealth while strengthening public benefit and intergenerational sustainability. The article proposes a sustainable educational governance model from an Islamic perspective consisting of four layers: value foundations, governance architecture, institutional processes, and outcomes and impacts. This model is expected to support the development of Islamic educational institutions that are excellent, inclusive, civilized, adaptive, and sustainable.
