Inovasi Pembelajaran dalam Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar di Sekolah Menengah Atas: Studi Kasus pada SMA Tahfidz Cahaya Qur'an Cibungbulang Bogor

Abstrak

Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) policy drives a shift in the educational paradigm toward learning that is more flexible, learner-centered, and adaptive to the changing times. However, its implementation in Tahfidz-based schools faces challenges in balancing the demands of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) with intensive Quran memorization programs. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar policy and the adaptation strategies employed to foster learning innovation at SMA Tahfidz Cahaya Qur’an in Cibungbulang, Bogor. A qualitative approach utilizing a descriptive case study method was adopted. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, and subsequently analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The findings reveal that the school successfully developed an innovation involving curriculum hybridization by integrating the Project to Strengthen the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) into the halaqah tahfidz (Quran memorization circle) program through the creation of teaching modules that blend learning outcomes with Quranic values. Furthermore, the implementation of a digital ecosystem-based blended learning model enhanced learning efficiency without compromising students' memorization targets. The successful implementation of these innovations was supported by the principal's adaptive leadership and the optimization of learning communities to improve teachers' digital competence.
