Abstract

This research aims to prove the success and response of students after implementing problem solving learning strategies in fiqh subjects at MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang. This type of research is carried out using descriptive qualitative, which is a research method chosen because it considers that the problem to be observed emphasizes observational activities or observations that occur in the field. The results of this research can be concluded that this problem solving learning strategy can help students understand the learning material. By solving a problem or problem that has occurred in everyday life. The benefits that can be taken from this problem solving learning strategy are; train students in developing their ideas so that they can train their critical thinking skills, train students in dealing with problems or problems in everyday life well, train students in finding the best steps to become a solution to the main problem problems or problems that occur, and train students in making appropriate and wise decisions. So that students not only know the problems or problems that occur in their daily lives, but can train students to be able to overcome problems that they will face later in their daily lives.
