الملخص

This study aims to analyze the influence of lifestyle, income, and social environment on Generation Z's financial management and examine the role of financial literacy in explaining the relationships between these variables. This study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through the SmartPLS application, which includes evaluation of the measurement model (outer model) and the structural model (inner model). The results of the outer model test indicate that all indicators have validity and reliability values ​​that meet the required criteria. The results of the direct effect test indicate that lifestyle has a positive but insignificant effect on financial management. The social environment also has a positive but insignificant effect, as does income. Conversely, financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial management. These findings indicate that financial literacy plays a significant role in supporting Generation Z's financial management. Meanwhile, the mediating effect of financial literacy cannot be concluded because the results of the indirect effect test are not yet available. This research is expected to contribute to the development of studies on the financial behavior of the younger generation and serve as a consideration in improving financial management skills through strengthening financial literacy.
