This inquiry explores the operational hurdles at Great Diponegoro Hotel Surabaya, where intense workload fluctuations and turnover vulnerabilities jeopardize employees' work-life balance (WLB). This research intends to examine the direct influence of workload and career development on WLB, alongside the intervening function of Perceived Organizational Support (POS). Deploying an explanatory quantitative framework through a census technique, data gathered from all 51 operational staff were assessed using PLS-SEM via SmartPLS 4. The empirical outcomes confirm that workload and career development have a meaningful and positive direct contribution to POS. On the contrary, POS, workload, and career development do not demonstrate a significant direct impact on WLB. Furthermore, the indirect path assessment indicates that POS fails to function as an intervening variable within the structural model due to the unyielding 24-hour shift system constraints within the hotel's operational ecosystem.
