الملخص

Schizophrenia is a chronic mental disorder characterized by auditory hallucinations, a condition in which the patient hears voices without any real stimulus. Auditory hallucinations can cause fear, anxiety, and even maladaptive behavior, requiring comprehensive management. One non-pharmacological therapy that can be used is dhikr therapy as a psychoreligious approach to help patients focus on positive stimuli and increase calm. This study aims to determine the application of dhikr therapy in nursing care for patients with auditory hallucinations. The method used is a case study with a comprehensive nursing care approach including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The subject of the study was a 19-year-old man diagnosed with major depression with psychotic symptoms. The intervention was carried out for 6 days through hallucination management in the form of hallucination identification, reprimand techniques, medication education, conversations, scheduled activities, and dhikr therapy. These results show a decrease in the frequency of hallucinations, reduced solitary behavior and self-talk, and an increase in the ability to control hallucinations independently. Dhikr therapy also helps patients feel calmer, more relaxed, and more comfortable. Therefore, dhikr therapy is effective as an additional intervention in controlling auditory hallucinations.
