Keywords:
Kepemimpinan Transformational, Keterlibatan Kerja, Turnover Intention, Generasi ZAbstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style and work engagement on turnover intention among Generation Z employees. This generation is known for being technologically adaptive and possessing unique work characteristics; however, they tend to demonstrate a higher turnover tendency compared to previous generations. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 157 Generation Z respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instruments included a turnover intention scale, a transformational leadership scale, and a work engagement scale. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results indicate that transformational leadership style and work engagement simultaneously have a significant effect on reducing turnover intention. Partially, both variables also show a significant negative effect on turnover intention. These findings highlight the importance of inspirational leadership and high levels of work engagement in reducing Generation Z employees’ intention to leave their organization.
