Pengaruh Strategi Manajemen Rantai Pasok Terhadap Kinerja Operasional Dengan Kompetensi Organisasi Sebagai Variabel Mediasi: Studi Kasus UMKM Industri Mebel di Kabupaten Purworejo

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of supply chain management strategy on operational performance with organizational competence as a mediating variable in furniture industry micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Purworejo Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach. The respondents were 60 owners of furniture industry MSMEs selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that supply chain management strategy has a positive and significant effect on operational performance, supply chain management strategy has a positive and significant effect on organizational competence, and organizational competence has a positive and significant effect on operational performance. Organizational competence also mediates the effect of supply chain management strategy on operational performance. The direct effect remains significant while the indirect effect through organizational competence is also significant, indicating complementary or partial mediation. These findings indicate that improving operational performance among furniture MSMEs requires both effective supply chain management and strengthening internal organizational competence.
