Musyarakah financing is one of the partnership-based financing schemes in Islamic banking that emphasizes the principles of justice, transparency, profit and loss sharing, and risk sharing. However, its implementation often faces challenges related to business monitoring, financial reporting, and customers' understanding of Islamic financing principles. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the musyarakah contract at PT BPR Syariah Meru Nusantara Mandiri from the perspective of Islamic finance principles. This research employed a qualitative approach with a field research design. Primary data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews with bank officers, and documentation, while secondary data were obtained from regulations, DSN-MUI Fatwas, books, and relevant scientific literature. The collected data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of the musyarakah contract has generally complied with Islamic principles and the DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 08/DSN-MUI/IV/2000 concerning Musyarakah Financing. The principles of justice, transparency, sharia compliance, profit and loss sharing, and risk sharing have been implemented in financing activities. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including limited financial literacy among customers, inadequate business financial records, and constraints in monitoring financing activities. Therefore, strengthening customer education, improving monitoring systems, and optimizing financial reporting are essential to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of musyarakah financing.
