The Akur Indigenous Community of Kampung Pasir, Cinta Karya Village, Samarang District, Garut Regency, is a group that consistently preserves ancestral knowledge systems and traditional technologies, deeply rooted in Sunda Wiwitan teachings and having strong cultural ties with the Cigugur tradition in Kuningan. This study aims to describe, analyze, and reveal the educational meanings of the technological systems developed by the local community, including the use of the Cigugur variant of Sundanese script as a medium for preserving identity and transmitting cultural values, Bale traditional house construction technology based on environmental wisdom, the architectural system and function of rice barns as food security infrastructure and spiritual symbols, as well as sustainable agricultural practices aligned with ecosystem dynamics. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, collecting data through literature review, participatory observation, and in-depth interviews with customary leaders, cultural custodians, and local residents. The findings indicate that every technological element serves not only practical daily needs but is also integrated with value systems, character education, and social structures that maintain balance between humans, nature, fellow beings, and ancestors. These results confirm that indigenous traditional technology is a rich learning resource, relevant for strengthening culture-based education, and serves as an intelligent adaptation model in addressing sustainable development challenges amid modernization.
