This study aims to explore the influence of physical appearance and environment on emotional resilience among college students. Emotional resilience is an individual's ability to face and recover from various challenges and emotional stress. In the context of campus life, factors such as physical appearance and social environment can play a significant role in shaping students' attitudes and behaviors. Using qualitative methods, the study collected data through surveys and interviews from several students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Medan State University. The results showed that student s who feel confident with their physical appearance tend to have higher levels of emotional resilience. In addition, a supportive social environment, including peers and lecturers, as well as support from family, also contributes positively to students' ability to cope with stress. These findings are expected to provide insight for educational institutions that are more conducive to the development of students' emotional resilience.
