This study aims to examine the influence of internal factors, Value-Based Drivers, Social Drivers, Economic Drivers, Environment Drivers, Employee Engagement, and Professional Culture, on Organizational Performance among snack food SMEs in Jakarta. A quantitative approach was employed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) on a sample of 120 employees from snack food SMEs in DKI Jakarta Province, selected through purposive sampling. Primary data were collected via online Likert-scale (1–5) questionnaires and analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that Professional Culture and Environment Drivers have a significant positive effect on relevant organizational aspects, particularly Organizational Performance and the formation of professional culture. Social Drivers also exert a strong positive and significant influence on Employee Engagement. However, Employee Engagement does not significantly affect Organizational Performance, while Value-Based Drivers and Professional Culture show no significant impact on Employee Engagement. Notably, Economic Drivers exhibit a significant negative effect on Employee Engagement. These findings highlight the complexity of internal dynamics in Jakarta’s snack food SMEs, where not all drivers operate linearly as in larger organizations, and economic factors surprisingly produce counterproductive effects on employee engagement.
