Dampak Laba Per Saham, Rasio Harga Terhadap Pendapatan, dan Rasio Utang Terhadap Ekuitas Terhadap Kinerja Saham Sektor Perbankan

Abstrak

This study aims to analyse the influence of Earnings Per Share (EPS), Price-to-Earnings Ratio (PER), and Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER) on the share prices of companies in the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2017–2021. This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the financial statements of banking companies published on the IDX. The research sample was selected using purposive sampling based on the criteria of companies that were consistently listed and had complete financial data throughout the study period. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis with the aid of statistical software, accompanied by classical assumption tests, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results of the study indicate that Earnings Per Share (EPS) and Price-to-Earnings Ratio (PER) have a positive and significant effect on share prices, whilst the Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER) has a negative and significant effect on share prices. Simultaneously, EPS, PER, and DER have a significant effect on the share price of companies in the banking sector. The coefficient of determination indicates that variations in share price can be explained by these three independent variables to a significant extent. This study provides implications for investors in making investment decisions and for company management in improving financial performance to enhance the company’s value in the capital market.
