Strategi Potensi Pengembangan Desa Berbasis Masyarakat: Studi Kasus Kampung Cikondang, Desa Cibitung Wetan

This study aims to identify and analyze the local potential of the Kampung Cikondang community, located in Cibitung Wetan Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. Situated within the buffer zone of a mountainous area rich in natural resources and socio-cultural dynamics, Kampung Cikondang holds strategic opportunities for community-based economic development. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study maps the community's social capital, agricultural commodity strengths, and potential for integration with rural ecotourism. The findings indicate that Kampung Cikondang’s potential rests on three main pillars: food security based on horticulture and plantation crops, strong social capital ties, and openness to agrotourism innovation. However, optimizing this potential requires strengthening local institutions and implementing product downstreaming strategies to generate sustainable economic value-added.
